Tudo Beleza dancers are starting a couple new classes in December!

Lisette Austin will now also teach a beginning Brazilian dance class at the Columbia City Fitness gym in Columbia City on Wednesdays nights. Dani Porto is starting a samba dance & fitness class on Capitol Hill on Saturday nights.

Tudo Beleza's Rio style samba class will be moving to a new location in October! The popular class will now be on Sunday afternoons, from 1 - 2 pm at the Belltown Ballet & Conditioning Studio (at 4th ave & Bell in downtown Seattle). Come check out the new location!

Tudo Beleza was featured in an article that appeared on the popular Brazilian internet news site terra.com. The title of the article is "Dancers teach samba to Americans before the game."

This article was part of coverage of the Brazil vs Canada soccer game that happened in Seattle on Saturday, May 31 at Qwest Field. Tudo Beleza was hired to perform at a pre-game party in Pioneer Square, Seattle - and to lead a samba workshop. Unfortunately, most of the quotes attributed to Tudo Beleza dancers were completely inaccurate (most made up by the writer), with statements like "Americans can't manage to samba, there is no way. It's only for Brazilians". Apparently the writer didn't know that three of Tudo Beleza's dancers are American! There were a number of other factual errors as well.

Still, it was wonderful to see Tudo Beleza mentioned in Brazilian print!
